If u want to create ur own shortcut keys for ur application or folders then
1) Create a Shortcut to Desktop of ur Application or Folders
2) Right click the Shortcut
3) Select Properties
4) Then in the Shortcut key box type ur own shortcut key
5) Click apply -> Then OK
Do not use the same shortcut for two applications or folders
